The Norwood Family is a very wealthy Scottish family that resides in Kinross. They aren't titled but because of their wealth live a prominent life. There fortune was earned by owning successful mine fields that have been passed from the father to the eldest son through the generations. The mine has lately however completely run dry and the family must rely on the money they have already made. The current head of the household Robert Norwood has been desperately attempting to wed all of his daughters off to titled and prominent families to secure their and his family's future. By trying to secure investors into his mines to hopefully make more money in the future. Robert had tried to get Lord Castleroy to invest thinking he didn't know the mines failure. However due to Castleroy's imprisonment and the remaining daughters of age were married off quickly due to having no dowry.
