Life and Career[]
John Weber began his film and television career in 1995, and has produced and serviced numerous television projects throughout his career. In 2009, Weber founded Take 5 Productions which has quickly become an industry leader in international co-production. Prior to Take 5, Weber was the CEO and controlling shareholder of Dufferin Gate Productions, a Toronto-based production service company which he successfully sold in 2007.
In addition to his services as President of Take 5, Weber is an Executive Producer of "The Tudors" (Showtime), "The Borgias" (Showtime), "Camelot" (Starz), "World Without End" (Tandem), "Vikings" (MGM/History) and "Beauty and the Beast" (CW/CBS). Weber is also a Professional Accountant with a degree in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
